Guarulhos has two runways with a third runway under consideration. The airport has two parallel runways numbered 09L/R and 27L/R. It is worth mentioning that the airport has 2 passenger and 5 cargo terminals. Several modifications in both terminals were made to avoid congestion until the beginning of construction of T3.

This is Sao Paulo's busiest airport which has loads of facilities for the convenience of the passengers traveling to and fro. There are a number of bars, restaurants and shops at the airport. There are two currency exchange bureaus and an ATM. There is duty free shopping before customs for Arrivals.
