If you are in the city of Sao Paulo you should not leave the city without visiting the Jardim botanical garden.
This lush sylvan paradise is a feast for the eyes and a delight to nature enthusiasts. One of the most pleasant places in São Paulo, this park is home to about 3,000 plants and more than 340 species of Brazilian flora. It is located within the almost 300,000- square- mile park is the Museu Botânico, a large botanical museum. You will also find floral exhibitions, a greenhouse with species from the Atlantic Forest, and the Orquidário (with many sorts of orchids.) Admission is R.25.
Students can glean valuable information about plant life. The lay out of the garden pleases our senses. You can wander along the meandering path ways and admire exotic plants and flowers of different kinds. Hordes of tourists visit this paradise.
It has a stunning entrance graced by an alamedade palm trees jerivá, flanked by banks and pergolas with creepers floríferas. The museum showcases the evolution of plant life. A lake full of aquatic plants adds to the garden's beauty.
