São Paulo International Film Festival

Film festivals are a great source of entertainment. The 28th São Paulo International Film Festival featured 329 films (268 feature films and 61 shorts) from over 66 countries.

This spectacular festival lasts for two weeks. 19 cinemas around the town will participate in the Festival. During the two weeks of the Festival, exhibitions, book premières, performances and shows takes place.

The 30th São Paulo International Film Festival will present a special contribution by its official sponsor, BR Petrobras, in benefit of Brazilian filmmaking. 30th São Paulo International Film Festival will present Petrobras Cultural Award.

Everyone is curious to know which films shall be awarded the Best Film Award. Moreover, Brazilian feature films, both fiction and documentaries, in the selection of the 30th Festival, will run for the ‘Petrobras Cultural Award in the São Paulo International Film Festival': an award granting R$ 600.000,00 to the two films considered the best by the festival's jury. Best fiction feature will receive R$ 400.000,00 and best feature documentary, R$ 200.000,00.
